Job summary

MBP is seeking a Construction Manager/Project Manager to lead complex projects in the Greater Philadelphia area. You will serve as an owner representative through pre-construction, construction, and building acceptance, coordinating quality, cost, schedule, and contractor activities for clients.

The role requires 7–10 years of relevant experience, strong knowledge of construction processes, and the ability to interact with owners, designers, and contractors.

Qualifications

• 7 to 10 years of combined education and/or experience in the design and/or construction process.
• Progressive career development in construction contract administration, change management, construction quality assurance, construction management, field engineering, or related fields.
• Supporting the successful delivery of new and/or renovated facilities.
• Scheduling experience is not required but is desired.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with the project delivery team to identify risks and develop mitigation strategies.
• Review project schedules for feasibility; track progress against schedule.
• Lead or participate in progress meetings; prepare meeting minutes.
• Provide QA/QC inspections to verify work complies with requirements.
• Document and track issues through resolution with contractors/designers/owners.
• Review change order proposals for entitlement and price; assist negotiations.
• Coordinate reviews/testing with commissioning authorities and jurisdictions.
• Coordinate reviews or installations by third-party stakeholders and systems.
• Coordinate punchlist and acceptance activities with designers and stakeholders.
• Monitor and verify closeout requirements including training, manuals, warranties, and stock materials.
