Job summary

Advocate Health is seeking a Project Director to lead project teams through healthcare design and construction. The role oversees scope, budget and schedule for multiple projects, acting as owner representative and coordinating internal and external resources.

The ideal candidate has a BA/BS in a relevant field with healthcare/design/construction experience, and familiarity with design standards, documentation, and benchmarking processes.

Qualifications

• 2 years of healthcare or academic design and construction experience preferred or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Ability to develop, monitor, and achieve project scope, budget and schedule.

Responsibilities

• Leads project teams; may teach, mentor and coach others.
• Develops, monitors, and achieves the scope, budget, and schedule of multiple projects.
• Leads and participates in teams, internally and externally.
• Represents owner in design and construction processes.
• Develops and monitors performance indicators and documentation.
• Procures and manages external resources and ensures regulatory compliance.
