Job summary

APSI Construction Management, Inc. is seeking an Owner’s Representative/Construction Manager to serve as the Owner’s Agent for the USPS Kansas City RPDC project in Gardner, Kansas.

The project involves a roughly 1,000,000 square-foot facility that will remain largely occupied during construction. You will provide proactive management, coordinate submittals, monitor budget and schedule, and lead a team on a complex renovation with multiple contractors, targeting safety, quality, and value through

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required; Architecture/Engineering fields acceptable.
• Minimum of 5 years of construction industry experience on projects of similar scope.
• 10+ years of related experience may be considered in lieu of the degree.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the Owner’s Agent (CMa) and primary Construction Manager; ensure safety and compliance with contract standards.
• Coordinate submittal reviews and manage the submittal process; monitor labor and material availability.
• Administer contract change orders and maintain project financial data, budgets, and payments.
• Maintain and update project scheduling; lead progress meetings and document issues/resolutions.
• Provide commissioning coordination, site inspections, and overall project coordination with multiple contractors.
