Peregrine Solutions, Inc. is seeking an experienced Construction Manager to serve as Owner's Representative on a large-scale, secure campus program in Maryland.

The role focuses on change order management and cost controls, acting as the Owner's frontline defense against cost growth and the primary coordinator for pay application reviews. The candidate will possess a multi-discipline background, strong contract language evaluation skills, and the credibility to assess PCOs across architectural,

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Civil, Structural, Mechanical, or Electrical), Architecture, or Construction Management is required.
• 5+ years of construction experience with change order analysis, cost controls, and pay application review on complex projects.
• Experience spanning multiple disciplines including MEP, architectural, and general construction is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage Potential Change Orders (PCOs) from receipt to entitlement determination and owner coordination.
• Oversee Pay Application Review and tracking, verify progress vs schedule of values, and advise owner on payments.
• Perform regular site walks to assess progress, field conditions, quality and safety, and ground-truth contractor claims.
• Maintain program change order logs and provide status reports; coordinate with PMIS and project stakeholders.
