Job summary

Mindlance seeks an Electrical/Protection & Control Engineer to provide engineering oversight for utility-scale Solar and Battery Energy Storage System projects. This Owner's Engineer role focuses on reviewing EPC designs, supporting construction, and guiding projects through commissioning and handover.

Ideal candidates will have a Bachelor's degree in engineering, 3+ years in power systems or protection & control, experience with transmission or substations, and familiarity with

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Engineering is required.
3+ years in Electrical, Power Systems or Protection & Control engineering.
Experience with transmission or substations.
Strong knowledge of ETAP/SKM, Load Flow, Short Circuit, Arc Flash and Protective Relaying.
Familiarity with NERC regulations.

Responsibilities

Review and oversee EPC engineering designs and technical deliverables.
Support projects from design review through commissioning.
Coordinate with EPC contractors, project managers, and internal teams.
Review power system studies and resolve technical issues.
Conduct site visits and support construction activities.
Ensure compliance with NERC, IEEE, and company standards.
