Job summary

Mindlance is seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer to provide technical oversight for utility-scale power generation projects from design through construction and commissioning. The role covers Solar, BESS, and conventional power systems with emphasis on EPC design reviews and HV protection.

Required experience includes ETAP/SKM, protection & control, and coordination with EPC contractors and project stakeholders. Travel of 15–25% to project sites will be needed across multiple locations.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of electrical power systems experience.
• Experience with utility-scale Solar, BESS, or power generation.
• Strong knowledge of ETAP/SKM, HV systems, and protection & control.
• Experience with EPC design review and commissioning.
• Utility/renewable energy background preferred.
• Willingness to travel ~15–25% to project sites.

Duration: Long-Term Project through 2028

Job Summary:

Seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer to provide technical oversight for utility-scale power generation projects from design through construction and commissioning. The role will support Solar, BESS, and conventional power projects, including EPC design reviews, power system studies, protection & control, and high-voltage systems.

Key Responsibilities:

• Review and oversee EPC electrical designs and engineering deliverables
• Perform/review power system studies using ETAP/SKM
• Support protection & control, protective relays, transmission, and substations
• Provide technical support during construction and commissioning
• Ensure compliance with applicable NERC and utility standards
• Coordinate with EPC contractors, engineering teams, and project stakeholders

Required Qualifications:

• 6+ years of electrical power systems experience
• Experience with utility-scale Solar, BESS, or power generation
• Strong knowledge of ETAP/SKM, HV systems, and protection & control
• Experience with EPC design review and commissioning
• Utility, renewable energy, or power generation background preferred
