Job summary

Mindlance seeks an Electrical/Protection & Control Engineer to provide engineering oversight for utility-scale Solar and Battery Energy Storage System projects. This Owner's Engineer role focuses on reviewing EPC designs, supporting construction, and guiding projects through commissioning and handover.

Ideal candidates will have a Bachelor's degree in engineering, 3+ years in power systems or protection & control, experience with transmission or substations, and familiarity with

• Experience with transmission or substations.
• Strong knowledge of ETAP/SKM, Load Flow, Short Circuit, Arc Flash and Protective Relaying.
• Familiarity with NERC regulations.

Responsibilities

• Support projects from design review through commissioning.
• Coordinate with EPC contractors, project managers, and internal teams.

This is an Owner's Engineer role focused on reviewing EPC designs, supporting construction, and leading projects through commissioning and handover.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering.
• 3+ years of Electrical, Power Systems, or Protection & Control engineering experience.
• Experience with, transmission, or substations.
• Strong knowledge of ETAP/SKM, Load Flow, Short Circuit, Arc Flash, and Protective Relaying.
• Familiarity with NERC regulations.

Ideal Candidate

• Protection & Control (P&C) or Power Systems Engineer from a Utility or EPC background.
• Strong design experience with an interest in moving into an engineering oversight/Owner's Engineer role.
• Excellent communication skills and a stable work history with interest in long-term projects.
