Job summary

Pacifico Energy is seeking an Electrical Construction Manager for the Cedar Creek project. You will represent the owner for electrical installation plant-wide, overseeing burial and energization work and coordinating with contractors to ensure safety and quality.

Responsibilities include supervising generator connections, switchgear, transformers, and busduct; monitoring cable terminations and grounding; tracking interfaces; and driving early identification of gaps.

Qualifications

• 12+ years in electrical construction on power plants, with 5+ years in supervision.
• 5+ years representing an owner over an EPC contractor under lump-sum contracts.
• Hands-on experience with generator connections and medium voltage systems.
• Working knowledge of NFPA 70 and NFPA 70E.
• Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering or equivalent field experience.

Responsibilities

• Oversee installation of generator connections, switchgear, transformers and busduct.
• Monitor cable installation, terminations and grounding across the plant.
• Oversee lighting, small power and electrical balance of plant.
• Track electrical interfaces at the project boundary.
• Review construction work packages and flag scope or constraint gaps early.
• Attend system walkdowns and identify punch list items.
• Monitor preservation and storage of electrical equipment through to installation.
