Job summary

bp is seeking an Owner Relations Analyst to serve as a primary contact for mineral, royalty, and working interest owners in Denver or Houston. The role requires handling high-volume inquiries, researching division orders, revenue, and tax documentation, and coordinating with Division Order, Land, Revenue Accounting, Legal, and Technology teams to ensure timely resolution.

Minimum 2 years of customer service or owner relations-related experience.
Ability to handle high-volume inquiries with accuracy and confidentiality.
Strong communication to explain complex payment, tax, and ownership information.

Responsibilities

Manage and resolve owner inquiries via phone, email, and case systems from initial contact to resolution or escalation.
Identify root causes and deliver clear, professional responses to owner concerns.
Research ownership changes, revenue, payments, and tax documentation; coordinate with cross-functional teams to resolve issues.
Maintain knowledge of oil and gas processes (land, division order, revenue accounting, owner setups, payment cycles).
Analyze royalty payments and account activity in SAP and related systems to explain details and resolve questions.
