Job summary

Clean Harbors, Inc. is looking for an OTR Class A Dry Van Owner Operator to join our safety conscious team in Phoenix, AZ or Las Vegas, NV. This route runs from Phoenix, AZ/Las Vegas, NV to Aragonite, UT; OTR; 2 weeks out; 3000+ miles a week

Average $200-250K per year with bi-weekly home time; compensation package includes on-duty time paid via hourly demurrage rates, non-asset hourly rates, and/or mileage pay. Clean Harbors is committed to safety and equal opportunity in employment.

Qualifications

• Class A CDL with HazMat and Tanker endorsements.
• Minimum 12 months of Class A driving experience.
• Ability to use required technology such as mobile applications and computer software.

Responsibilities

• Operates tractor trailer units.
• Maintains daily logs, invoicing, time sheets, dispatch and trip reports as well as vehicle inspection reports.
• Ensures proper loading/unloading of hazardous waste and secures loads.
• Placards vehicle in accordance with DOT requirements/regulations.
• Adheres to weights and ensures proper utilization of the units.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Ensures that Health and Safety is the number one priority by complying with all safe work practices, policies, and processes and acting in a safe manner at all times
• Operates tractor trailer units
• Adheres to weights and ensures proper utilization of the units
• Ensures proper loading and unloading of hazardous waste/non-hazardous waste; Properly secures the loads
• Placards vehicle in accordance to Company and Department of Transportation (DOT) requirements/regulations
• Maintains daily logs, invoicing, time sheets, dispatch and trip reports as well as vehicle inspection reports

QUALIFICATIONS

• Class A CDL
• HAZMAT and Tanker endorsements
• Minium 12 months of Class A driving experience
• Ability to effectively use required technology such as mobile applications and computer software
