Job summary

Landstar is hiring an Owner Operator Support Specialist in Jacksonville, FL to assist Business Capacity Owners as they start their partnership. You will guide them through Landstar's systems, tools, and processes and address day-to-day questions.

Responsibilities include initiating contact with new contractors, conducting 45- and 90-day reviews, and tracking weekly revenue. Strong problem-solving and communication skills are essential for success.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 1 year of administrative customer support experience preferred.
• Call center experience a plus; coaching/training experience is helpful.

Responsibilities

• Initiate and document first contact with newly contracted Owner Operators.
• Conduct 45- and 90-day reviews with Owner Operators.
• Gather information to promote retention and success.
• Track weekly gross/net revenue.
• Answer Owner Operator questions via phone or email.
• Provide guidance on load planning and revenue growth techniques.
• Monitor inactivity and advise on barriers to revenue.
• Meet with Owner Operators to resolve issues as needed.
