Carriage Services seeks a Managing Partner at Greenlawn Northeast Cemetery in Bakersfield, CA to run a premier funeral home and cemetery operation. You will own the business, shape the team, and directly influence growth, culture, and community impact.

The role offers a base salary of $115,000–$120,000 with significant incentives and the opportunity to lead all facets of operations, sales, compliance, and vendor relationships while delivering exceptional, ethical care to families.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of funeral home and/or cemetery management experience.
• Licensed Funeral Director and Embalmer (or ability to reciprocate in California).
• Strong business acumen with P&L ownership experience.
• Proven ability to lead teams and drive measurable results.
• Experience in cemetery operations and sales.
• Self-starter mindset with strong accountability and problem-solving skills.
• Entrepreneurial approach - you think like an owner, not an employee.
