Carriage Services seeks a Managing Partner at Greenlawn Northeast Cemetery in Bakersfield, CA to run a premier funeral home and cemetery operation. You will own the business, shape the team, and directly influence growth, culture, and community impact.

The role offers a base salary of $115,000–$120,000 with significant incentives and the opportunity to lead all facets of operations, sales, compliance, and vendor relationships while delivering exceptional, ethical care to families.

Qualifications

5+ years of funeral home and/or cemetery management experience.
Licensed Funeral Director and Embalmer (or ability to reciprocate in California).
Strong business acumen with P&L ownership experience.
Proven ability to lead teams and drive measurable results.
Experience in cemetery operations and sales.
Self-starter mindset with strong accountability and problem-solving skills.
Entrepreneurial approach - you think like an owner, not an employee.

Compensation

$115,000-120,000 base + significant annual & long-term incentives

Location: Greenlawn Northeast Cemetery

Preferably or ability to obtain within year one:
