Job summary

AllSearch Staffing Group is assisting a growing commercial real estate development firm in Bloomington, IN to hire an Assistant Construction Project Manager. The role supports owner-side execution of large industrial projects, coordinating with contractors, architects, engineers, and internal teams throughout the lifecycle.

Responsibilities include reviewing schedules and budgets, tracking costs, managing documentation, procurement, and risk management.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of commercial construction/project management experience.
• General Contractor experience on large construction projects valued at $50M or more.
• Experience with contractor buyout, subcontractor buyout, procurement, bid review, and scope management.
• Experience with construction contracts, project documentation, RFIs, submittals, change orders, change management, and construction administration.
• Experience reviewing and/or approving pay applications, invoices, change orders, and project expenditures.
• Experience with construction financial reporting, budget tracking, cost forecasting, committed costs, and project financial controls.
• Experience reviewing construction schedules, critical path activities, and project milestones.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and experience with Procore, P6, MS Project, or similar construction/project management software.

Responsibilities

• Oversee assigned ground-up industrial development projects on behalf of the owner.
• Review schedules, budgets, commitments, forecasts, and cost reports.
• Monitor progress and coordinate with GC's and project teams on schedule, cost, quality, and issues.
• Participate in buyout, procurement, bid review, and scope management.
• Review and manage contracts, RFIs, submittals, change orders, and records.
• Track pay applications, invoices, change orders, and expenditures.
• Maintain project financial reporting, budget tracking, and cost forecasting.
• Review schedules, CPM milestones, and update progress.
• Coordinate with development, finance, legal, design, and construction teams.
• Attend project meetings and document decisions, action items, and deliverables.
• Provide status updates on schedule, budget, costs, risks, and issues.
• Assist with risk management and project closeout activities.
