Qualifications

• Experience with ground-up commercial construction projects.
• Roles including Project Manager, Superintendent, or similar.
• Experience managing multiple subcontractor trades.
• Strong understanding of drawings, specs and scopes of work.
• Experience with budgets, schedules and change orders.

Responsibilities

• Oversee projects from preconstruction through delivery with ownership.
• Manage day-to-day construction activities and subcontractors.
• Develop and maintain construction schedules.
• Coordinate architects, engineers, consultants, and subcontractors.
• Solicit and evaluate subcontractor bids; assist budgeting and value engineering.
• Review scopes of work and identify gaps before contracts are awarded.
• Manage RFIs, submittals, change orders and construction docs.
• Monitor project costs against budget and track issues.
• Coordinate inspections, permitting and occupancy certificates.
• Manage punch lists and project closeout.
• Build relationships with Houston-area subcontractors.
• Help ownership improve construction processes as projects grow.
