Job summary

Nobis Group in New England seeks a Senior Environmental Project Manager to lead complex projects, manage client partnerships, and drive outcomes for clients and project teams. You will oversee scope, schedule, budget, quality, and team performance from pursuit to completion, mentor staff, and collaborate across disciplines while aligning with Nobis Group standards and a culture of ownership.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Engineering, Geology, or related field (Master’s a plus).
• 8 years of relevant experience, including 4 years of project management experience in soil and groundwater remediation, remediation alternatives evaluations, and multi media site investigation.
• OSHA 40-hour HAZWOPER certification and annual 8-hour refresher, as applicable
• P.E. or P.G. licensure strongly preferred
• Strong project management skills, including planning, budgeting, scheduling, staffing/resource allocation, and risk management
• Proven ability to lead multidisciplinary teams that include scientists, engineers, contractors, and other project stakeholders
• Strong communication skills, stakeholder engagement and client relationship for internal and external clients is a must
• Valid driver's license

Responsibilities

• Lead projects from pursuit through completion, ensuring on-time delivery within budget and to high quality standards.
• Manage project scope, schedules, financial performance, and team resources; coordinate with stakeholders; provide technical leadership.
• Mentor project staff to support successful outcomes and long-term client relationships.
• Collaborate across disciplines and with subcontractors to meet client expectations and company standards
