Job summary

Nobis Group, a 100% employee-owned firm in New England, seeks an Environmental Project Manager to lead soil and groundwater remediation, site investigations, and Brownfields work. You’ll manage client relationships, budgets, schedules, and regulatory compliance across CERCLA and state programs.

You’ll mentor teams, ensure high-quality deliverables, and help grow an ownership culture through mentorship, leadership pathways, and a collaborative, people-first environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in environmental engineering or geology (Master’s a plus)
• 5+ years of relevant experience, including 2+ years of project management in remediation and site investigation (8+ years preferred)
• OSHA 40-hour HAZWOPER certification
• P.E. or P.G. licensure strongly preferred
• Strong knowledge of NH regulations, CERCLA, remedial implementation, SAPs/QAPPs, and environmental compliance
• Experience with multimedia investigations, remedial alternatives evaluations, and remedial action implementation
• Familiarity with Deltek, GIS, and graphics software is a plus

Responsibilities

• Support proposals, define scopes, and build strong client relationships.
• Manage budgets, schedules, and technical deliverables; oversee field investigations and remediation activities.
• Guide project teams; ensure regulatory compliance across CERCLA and state programs.
• Maintain high-quality project documentation; proactively manage scope changes and risks.
