Job summary

Silgan Closures in New Castle, PA is seeking a Production Associate to help operate the lines producing caps. You will monitor the line for quality, feed caps into boxes, label and stack finished cartons, and perform visual checks on caps.

The position offers $16.00 per hour plus shift differential, overtime opportunities, and a steady shifting schedule across three daily shifts in a clean, temperature-controlled plant environment.

Qualifications

• Ability to frequently transport a box of product weighing between 15 and 35 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Ensure the line(s) produces quality caps through inspections.
• Monitor the automated line to ensure caps feed into boxes.
• Re-thread labels, fill ink and liner and unjam caps as needed.
• Label filled boxes and stack on pallet up to 32 pounds; 6-7 high.
