Job summary

Tim Hortons is seeking an Assistant Restaurant Manager to support all aspects of a busy location, ensuring Tim Hortons' standards around people, product, cleanliness and an exceptional guest experience. You will help recruit and develop team members, manage daily operations, control costs, uphold safety policies and lead by example during busy shifts.

Tim Hortons offers weekly pay, overtime, and benefits to eligible staff.

Qualifications

Experience in restaurant or retail management is preferred.
Strong leadership and communication skills.
Ability to manage scheduling, training and development of staff.

Responsibilities

Assist in recruiting new team members, training and developing existing team members and motivating a team to achieve targets.
Provide ongoing performance feedback and conduct regular performance reviews.
Assist Restaurant Manager in building bench strength by identifying high-potential employees.
Communicate with all shifts on day-to-day operations and focus areas.
Assist with enforcing security procedures to reduce theft and ensure safety.
Assist in planning and budgeting, and in controlling costs.
Handle daily cash procedures and assist with financial reporting.
Order supplies and oversee building maintenance and cleanliness.
Ensure compliance with health and safety legislation and Tim Hortons operating procedures.
Maintain high standards of guest experience and resolve complaints.
