Clayton is seeking a Pilot/Escort Driver to join Clayton Connect, working with the Toter to safely ship oversized loads. You will travel with the team, perform pre-trip inspections, and call out hazards to ensure safe passage and timely delivery on multi-state routes.

This full-time role requires a valid driver’s license, ability to pass background and drug testing, and overnight stays 2–3 nights per week. You must read and follow state Pilot/Escort requirements and communicate clearly with the

• Defensive driving certification preferred.
• Ability to read and understand state Pilot/Escort requirements.
• Willingness to travel overnight 2–3 nights per week.

Responsabilidades

• Pilot/Escort the home as it navigates the required route; call out hazards and coordinate lanes.
• Assist the Toter driver to prepare and secure cargo for shipment.
• Maintain CB radio communication with the Toter driver and Retailers.
• Perform pre-trip inspections and ensure compliance with state Pilot/Escort requirements.
• Represent Clayton professionally during deliveries.
