Job summary

Clayton Homes, a Berkshire Hathaway company, is seeking a Class A CDL Driver – Toter Driver to transport oversized and overweight loads with a focus on safety and paperwork accuracy. The role reports to the Terminal Manager and collaborates with pilot escorts, supervisors, and field teams.

Candidates should have extensive CDL experience, be able to operate and maintain equipment, and ensure proper permits before delivery.

Qualifications

• Class A CDL required with extensive experience for oversized/overweight loads.
• Knowledge of DOT regulations and safe operation of equipment.
• Ability to maintain accurate paperwork and professional appearance of vehicles.

Responsibilities

• Safely transport oversized loads within the region.
• Operate and maintain equipment including daily checks and electronic logs.
• Coordinate permits and load selection with supervisors and escort drivers.
• Deliver to designated retail locations and provide route information to the team.
• Ensure completion of delivery paperwork and end-of-shift cleanup.
