Job summary

Range Generation Next Llc seeks an experienced telecommunications/IT professional to support DISA network operations on Kwajalein Atoll. This unaccompanied overseas role offers housing, meals, and potential U.S.

tax incentives, with duties spanning technical control, reporting, and restoration planning. Requires an associate degree in electronics or related field and at least five years in communications, including four in technical control or fixed-station operations.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in electronics or related field or equivalent military/technical experience.
• Minimum five years of communications experience with at least four years in Technical Control or fixed station operations.
• Ability to patch, test, troubleshoot, and restore communications circuits.
• Proficient with precision test equipment and schematics.
• Ability to work varied shifts in a 24-hour center.

Responsibilities

• Exercise technical control and supervision over GIG facilities and transmission systems.
• Report status of facilities and links in accordance with DISA directives.
• Coordinate with DISA NetOps, maintenance teams, and vendors to restore service.
• Develop and maintain DISA R-Plans and MECLs; review plans periodically.
• Perform testing and acceptance of trunks and circuits per DISA orders.
• Manage network bandwidth and schedule routine downtime.
• Submit reports for outages and changes as required.
