Job summary

RGNext seeks an experienced IT professional to install, configure, and troubleshoot end-user devices and network hardware on Kwajalein Atoll, Marshall Islands. This unaccompanied role requires DoD 8570 IAT II baselines, Security+/CySA+/GICSP, and CE/Linux+ certs, plus travel to outer islands for deployments.

Responsibilities include MECM/PXE deployments, STIG assessments, and maintaining secure enclave operations while supporting sensitive mission needs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related discipline, or experience in lieu of education.
• Five (5) or more years of directly related Information Technology experience.
• Security+, CySA+, GICSP, or similar DoD 8140.01/8570.01 baseline IAT Level II certification required before start and maintained thereafter.
• CE/Linux+, Server+ or similar DoD baseline certification for IAT Level II required before start and maintained thereafter.
• Ability to self-organize and prioritize to meet deadlines.
• Proficiency with Windows 11 and Microsoft Office apps.
• Ability to fix STIG settings on end-user devices (workstations, laptops, printers).
• Willingness to travel to outer islands via boat/helicopter for deployments.
• U.S. citizenship and ability to obtain/maintain a U.S. government Secret clearance.

Responsibilities

• Install, configure and troubleshoot end user and network devices (computers, printers, hardware).
• Deploy and configure end user and network devices via MECM and PXE deployments.
• Provide touch labor — installation, troubleshooting, software, security, patches, repair of hardware.
• Apply knowledge of Cyber Security concepts to secure enclave systems.
