Job summary

RGNext is seeking an Engineering Technician II for an overseas assignment on Roi-Namur, Kwajalein Atoll. This unaccompanied post includes housing and meals, with potential U.S. tax incentives.

You’ll operate and maintain C-Band/Ka-Band radar transmitters and support RF hardware, while coordinating with engineers on I&M projects. Expect to handle routine maintenance, diagnostics, and installation tasks. Candidates must meet the electronics qualification criteria, be able to relocate to Kwajalein,

Qualifications

• Associate degree or 2 years of related military electronics training.
• 2+ years of electronics technician experience including high voltage and RF transmission equipment.
• Ability to climb and work at heights up to 50 feet.
• Relocation to Kwajalein Atoll and ability to obtain a Secret clearance.
• U.S. citizenship and U.S. passport required.

Responsibilities

• Provide transmitter operations and maintenance support for a C-Band and Ka-Band radar system.
• Maintain, troubleshoot and repair various pieces of hardware.
• Provide transmitter operations support including daily warm-ups, satellite tracks, SOI tasking and range test operations.
• Perform routine preventive maintenance procedures and run system diagnostic software.
• Support receivers, transmitters and hardware engineers during I&M projects.
• Assemble, wire and bench tests components and subassemblies.
• Install new equipment and provide input on system configuration and performance.
• Maintain calibration database, test fixtures and assemblies using COTS components.
• Climb and work at heights up to 50 feet.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.
