Elk Hill is seeking an Overnight Residential Counselor to support youth in a group home setting in Central Virginia. The role emphasizes high-quality childcare, positive role modeling, and collaboration with a multidisciplinary team to help youth achieve goals in their service plans.

The candidate should bring experience with youth in residential settings, CPR/First Aid, Behavior Management certification, and a valid driver's license.

Formación

• High-School Diploma or equivalent is preferred.
• Up-to-date certification in Behavior Management Program.
• CPR/First Aid certification up to date.
• Valid certificate in approved medication aide training class.
• Valid driver’s license and good driving record preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Maintain high childcare standards during coverage and document shifts.
• Provide a positive role model at all times.
• Build positive relationships with youth.
• Organize and lead group activities.
• Facilitate medication dispersal and medical visits.
• Assist in constructing and implementing individual service plans.
• Participate in supervision and staff development training.
• Occasionally work at other group homes.
• Perform duties as assigned by the Program Director.
