Uta Halee Academy in Omaha, NE is hiring an Overnight Youth Care Worker to provide safety and around-the-clock supervision for youth in our residential program. You will monitor student behaviors at night, document progress, and collaborate with treatment staff to support each student’s plan.

This is an awake night position with multiple shift options. Requirements include at least 2 years post-secondary education or 2 years of experience with youth, be 21+, pass background/drug tests, and hold

Qualifications

• Must have at least 2 years of post-high school education or 2 years of experience with youth.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Pass a criminal background check, drug screen, physical, and TB test.
• Be able to pass a search of the child abuse central registry.

Uta Halee Academy (UHA) is a female-specific, residential program that offers young women opportunities to build productive and meaningful futures for themselves and their communities. Through rigorous education, positive skill development, and individualized therapeutic interventions and treatment, we empower youth to reach their full potential. The facility features residential student dormitories, on-site schooling, a dining hall, and extracurricular opportunities for the students. Earn a $1,000 Bonus After Successful Completion of Essential Skills Training (within90 days)

Pay: starting at $18.00/hour for those with less than 2 years of experience with at-risk youth and a high school diploma.

What you will do: As a Youth Care Worker, you’ll provide safety and around-the-clock supervision for the youth in our program, and provide an atmosphere that is supportive of the needs of the students. You’ll monitor and document student behaviors during the night and collaborate with other professional staff to establish and/or meet the goals of each student’s treatment plan. This is an awake night position.

To be considered, you should: Possess at least 2 years of post-high school education ~ 2 years of experience working with youth ~ be at least 21 years of age ~ Be able to pass a criminal background check, drug screen, physical, and TB test, ~ Be able to pass a search of the child abuse central registry.

Schedule: Looking to fill one of the following:

• B Shift from Wednesday to Saturday from 10 pm - 8 am; 4 days/week at FT
• B Shift from Wednesday to Saturday from 10 pm - 10 am; 3.5 days/week at FT
• A Shift from Thursday to Saturday from 9 pm -10:15 am; PT role of 30 hours/week
