Job summary

Rite of Passage is hiring an Overnight Youth Care Worker for Uta Halee Academy in Omaha, Nebraska. This female-specific, residential program focuses on education and therapeutic support for young women.

The role offers an awake night shift with shifts including Wednesday to Saturday and Thursday to Saturday options, and a $1,000 bonus after essential skills training. Starting pay is $18.00/hour for applicants with less than 2 years of experience and a high school diploma.

Qualifications

• Must have 2 years of post-high school education.
• Must have 2 years of experience working with youth.
• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Must pass criminal background check, drug screen, physical, and TB test.
• Must be able to pass a search of the child abuse central registry.

Responsibilities

• Provide safety and around-the-clock supervision for youth.
• Monitor and document student behaviors during the night.
• Collaborate with staff to meet goals of each student’s treatment plan.
• This is an awake night position.
