Rite of Passage Team at Uta Halee Academy in Omaha, Nebraska invites applicants for an Overnight Youth Care Worker. The role provides around-the-clock supervision, ensuring safety and supportive environments for youth in a female-specific residential program.

Pay starts at $18.00/hour and includes a $1,000 bonus after completing essential skills training within 90 days. Shift A covers Sunday to Tuesday 10 p.m.–8 a.m., Shift B is Wednesday to Saturday 10 p.m.–8 a.m.

Qualifications

• Possess at least 2 years of post-high school education
• 2 years of experience working with youth
• Be at least 21 years of age
• Pass a criminal background check, drug screen, physical, and TB test
• Pass a search of the child abuse central registry

Responsibilities

• Provide safety and around-the-clock supervision for youth in the program
• Monitor and document student behaviors during the night
• Collaborate with other staff to meet each student’s treatment plan
• Awake night position and contribute to a positive, safe environment for residents

Uta Halee Academy (UHA) is a female-specific, residential program that offers young women opportunities to build productive and meaningful futures for themselves and their communities. Earn a $1,000 Bonus After Successful Completion of Essential Skills Training (within90 days)

Pay: starting at $18.00/hour for those with less than 2 years of experience with at-risk youth and a high school diploma.

What you will do: As a Youth Care Worker, you’ll provide safety and around-the-clock supervision for the youth in our program, and provide an atmosphere that is supportive of the needs of the students. You’ll monitor and document student behaviors during the night and collaborate with other professional staff to establish and/or meet the goals of each student’s treatment plan. This is an awake night position.

Schedule: Looking to fill both A and B full-time shift

• A Shift is Sunday to Tuesday from 10 p.m. -8 a.m.
• B Shift from Wednesday to Saturday from 10 pm - 8 am
