Job summary

Rite of Passage Brand is seeking a dedicated Youth Care Worker to join Uta Halee Academy in Omaha, Nebraska. This full-time role focuses on around-the-clock supervision, safety, and creating a calm, supportive environment for youth in our residential program.

You will document student behaviors, participate in educational and recreational activities, and collaborate with staff to help each student meet their treatment goals.

Qualifications

• At least 2 years of post-high school education.
• 2 years of experience working with youth.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Be able to pass a criminal background check, drug screen, physical, and TB test.
• Be able to pass a search of the child abuse central registry.

Responsibilities

• As a Youth Care Worker, you’ll ensure safety and around-the-clock supervision for the youth in our program and foster an environment that supports students' needs.
• You’ll monitor and document student behaviors and activities.
• Participate in and assist with educational, social, athletic, and recreational activities.
• Collaborate with other professional staff to establish and/or meet the goals of each student’s treatment plan.

Uta Halee Academy (UHA) is a female-specific, residential program that offers young women opportunities to build productive and meaningful futures for themselves and their communities. Earn a $1,000 Bonus After Successful Completion of Essential Skills Training (within90 days)

Pay: starting at $18.00/hour for those with less than 2 years of experience with at-risk youth and a high school diploma.

What you will do:

Schedule: Looking to fill A and B shift:

Full-Time Schedule

• B Shift is Wednesday from 2 pm to 10 pm with a 1-hour break, and Thursday - Saturday from 8 am to 10 pm with a 2-hour break.
