Job summary

CONMED Corporation is seeking an Overnight Warehouse Lead in Lithia Springs, GA. This night shift runs 8:00 PM to 4:30 AM, Sunday through Thursday with occasional overtime at month-end. You will oversee processing of shipments, ensure accuracy, and support Buyers and Transportation.

Responsibilities include supervising, uploading shipments into the WMS via RF scanners, and ensuring efficient cross-functional shipping and receiving. Strong leadership and logistics skills are essential.

Qualifications

• 4-7 years in a warehouse environment.
• Experience working within WMS systems preferred.
• Previous leadership experience strongly preferred.
• Intermediate skills with Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook.

• Provide direct support to supervisor related to objectives, training, evaluating performance, and communication.
• Ensure shipments are accurately uploaded into the WMS using an RF Scanner.
• Assist in the successful shipping and receiving of items in a cross-functional environment.
• Examine goods for damage, defects, or discrepancies and verify against POs and packing slips.
• Track key metrics related to efficiency and perform other duties as assigned by management.

This is an OVERNIGHT position with hours of 8pm-4:30am, Sunday through Thursday with occasional overtime at the end of the month.

As a CONMED Overnight Warehouse Lead you will be responsible for the processing ofall incoming shipments. You will ensure shipments are accurately processed, inspected, and stored while maintaining inventory accuracy and optimizing efficiency. You will resolve any discrepancies and collaborate with Buyers and Transportation. You will assist in the Domestic and International shipping departments as needed.

Key Duties:

• Provide direct support to supervisor as it relates to company objectives, training, evaluating performance, and communication.
• Responsible for ensuring shipments are accurately uploaded into the WMS using an RF Scanner.
• Assist in the successful shipping and receiving of items in a cross-functional environment.
• Examining goods for damage, defects, or discrepancies. Checking received items against purchase orders and packing slips to ensure accuracy in quantity and description.
• Perform other duties as assigned by management. Including tracking key metrics related to efficiency.

Requirements:

• 4-7 years in a warehouse environment.
• Experience working within WMS systems preferred.
• Previous experience in a leadership role strongly preferred.
• Intermediate skills with Microsoft Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook).
• Ability to read, understand and carry out written procedures and standard work instructions.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to perform math skills such as adding, subtracting, multiplying, and dividing to perform routine calculations.
• Understanding of Warehouse Management Systems and RF Scanners
