Job summary

CONMED is seeking an Overnight Warehouse Lead in Lithia Springs, GA to work 8pm–4:30am, Sunday–Thursday with occasional overtime. The role offers a stable schedule, climate-controlled facility, and guaranteed 40 hours per week.

You will oversee inbound/outbound shipments, use RF scanners, and maintain inventory accuracy in the WMS while collaborating with Buyers and Transportation to meet company objectives.

Qualifications

• 4–7 years in a warehouse environment.
• Experience working with WMS systems preferred.
• Previous leadership experience strongly preferred.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook).
• Ability to read and follow written procedures and standard work instructions.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct support to supervisor and help evaluate performance and communications.
• Ensure shipments are uploaded into the WMS using RF scanners.
• Assist in shipping and receiving in a cross-functional environment.
• Inspect goods for damage and discrepancies against PO and packing slips.
• Track key metrics related to efficiency and perform other duties as assigned.

Job description

This is an OVERNIGHT position with hours of 8pm-4:30am, Sunday through Thursday with occasional overtime at the end of the month.

As a CONMED Overnight Warehouse Lead you will be responsible for the processingofall incoming shipments. You will ensure shipments are accurately processed, inspected, and stored while maintaining inventory accuracy and optimizing efficiency. You will resolve any discrepancies and collaborate with Buyers and Transportation. You will assist in the Domestic and International shipping departments as needed.

Key Duties:

• Provide direct support to supervisor as it relates to company objectives, training, evaluating performance, and communication.
• Responsible for ensuring shipments are accurately uploaded into the WMS using an RF Scanner.
• Assist in the successful shipping and receiving of items in a cross-functional environment.
• Examining goods for damage, defects, or discrepancies. Checking received items against purchase orders and packing slips to ensure accuracy in quantity and description.
• Perform other duties as assigned by management. Including tracking key metrics related to efficiency.

Requirements:

• 4-7 years in a warehouse environment.
• Experience working within WMS systems preferred.
• Previous experience in a leadership role strongly preferred.
• Intermediate skills with Microsoft Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook).
• Ability to read, understand and carry out written procedures and standard work instructions.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to perform math skills such as adding, subtracting, multiplying, and dividing to perform routine calculations.
• Understanding of Warehouse Management Systems and RF Scanners
