Havertys is seeking a Receiving Material Handler for the Distribution Team in Lakeland, FL. You will work onsite with a team to unload merchandise, stage items for transport, and uphold safety and cleanliness while learning productivity standards.

Starting pay is $17.00/hour with Daily Pay options and opportunities to advance within the company. The role requires heavy lifting up to 150 lbs, ability to pass background checks, and wearing Havertys-provided uniforms and safety gear.

Qualifications

• Ability to perform heavy lifting throughout shift, up to 150 lbs.
• Team Player and able to work in a team.
• Ability to pass Criminal Background check, Lifting Assessment, and Drug Test.

Responsibilities

• Unload merchandise from delivery trucks and shipping containers in teams of 2 to 4.
• Stage merchandise on carts for transport to shipping or storage areas.
• Maintain safety practices and a clean work environment.
• Learn productivity standards and time management during shift.
