Havertys Distribution Team is seeking a Shipping Material Handler to assist in unboxing, inspecting, and preparing customer merchandise for shipment. The role emphasizes teamwork, safety, and efficiency in a fast-paced warehouse environment.

Qualifications

• Ability to perform heavy lifting throughout shift, up to 150 lbs.
• Pass criminal background check, lifting assessment, and drug test.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate in teams of 2 to 4 to unbox, inspect, assemble, and wrap customer merchandise for shipment.
• Inspect and handle merchandise such as sofas, mattresses, tables, chairs, etc.
• Maintain safety and cleanliness; follow safety policies; support quality checks for delivery readiness.
