Job summary

McLane Company, Inc is hiring for a Warehouse Receiver in Austell, GA. The role handles new and returned product on inbound dock operations, ensuring saleable condition and proper flow.

Prior receiving experience is preferred and the position operates on the 11pm–7am shift with competitive benefits. Responsibilities include directing carriers, verifying product integrity, documenting discrepancies, processing orders, and supporting the Receiving Clerk.

Qualifications

• Must be able to read, write, and understand English at a level sufficient to perform job-related tasks effectively and safely.
• Previous warehouse receiving experience is preferred.
• At least 18 years of age.

Responsibilities

• Direct outside carriers and contract unloaders to sort and segregate product.
• Follow and maintain product integrity per quality inspection standards.
• Document overages, shortages, damages, expiration dates, temperatures, and trailer condition.
• Print pallet labels, enter purchase orders, and assign doors.
• Cover for the Receiving Clerk as needed.
• Other duties or special projects may be assigned by the supervisor.
