Job summary

Halperns’ Steak & Seafood is seeking a Warehouse/Production Supervisor to oversee staff and operations. You will manage workflow, ensure accurate receipts and shipments, and drive process improvements across the plant. Strong leadership, safety compliance, and USDA knowledge are essential.

The role requires coordinating with distribution centers and business leaders, mentoring staff, and enforcing company procedures while providing a safe, efficient work environment.

Responsibilities

• Supervises warehouse and/or production activities and staff.
• Monitors flow of products through the plant and suggests process improvements.
• Ensure verification of incoming receipts and outgoing shipments.
• Inspects warehouse and equipment condition and coordinates repairs.
• Collaborates with other centers and leaders to coordinate business.
• Leads safety and plant protection activities and enforces company procedures.
• Interviews, trains, and retains staff; conducts performance monitoring.
• Mentors and develops staff; applies disciplinary actions when needed.
