Job summary

Tyson Foods in Edwardsville is seeking a Checker Opr B-shift overnight to remove pallets from trailers using a forklift and to break down and stack cases while receiving, verifying product, date, and quantity. The role requires lifting up to 90 lbs regularly and up to 110 lbs occasionally, with standing, walking, bending, stretching, climbing, and reaching in a cold environment.

This cooler/freezer warehouse operates at -10 to 32 degrees, provides PPE, and offers a 12-hour shift three-and-a-half

Qualifications

• Must have 1 year of forklift and warehouse experience through a single employer in the last 5 years.
• Cold storage experience preferred.
• Must be willing to frequently lift, push, pull, or carry up to 90lbs cases and occasionally lift, push, pull, or carry up to 110lbs cases.
• Must be willing to frequently stand, walk, bend, stretch, and climb.
• Must be willing to cross train and be moved to other areas as needed.
• Must be willing and able to stand for 12 hours per day on hard floors in a cold environment with temperature range from -10° to 30°F.
• The successful candidate(s) must be willing and able to perform the physical requirements of the job with or without a reasonable accommodation
