Job summary

Tyson Foods Edwardsville is seeking a qualified Opr B-shift overnight to unload pallets from trailers using a forklift and to receive, verify, and store product.

The role requires physical stamina: lifting up to 90 lbs frequently, and up to 110 lbs occasionally, in a cold cooler environment with temperatures from -10°F to 32°F. Shifts are 12 hours, three and a half days per week, with attendance incentives and shift premiums.

Qualifications

• Must have 1 year forklift and warehouse experience through a single employer in the last 5 years.
• Cold storage experience preferred.
• Frequently lift, push, pull, or carry up to 90 lbs; occasionally up to 110 lbs.
• Stand, walk, bend, stretch and climb for 12-hour shifts in a cold environment.

Responsibilities

• Remove pallets from trailers using a forklift.
• Break down and stack cases during receiving and verify product, date and quantity.
• Work in a cooler/freezer environment with temperatures -10°F to 32°F.
• 12-hour shifts, 3.5 days per week with attendance incentive and shift premium.
