BluePearl Pet Hospital is seeking an Overnight ICU Veterinary Technician to join our emergency and critical care team in Reno. This full-time night shift offers a $3,000 sign-on bonus for qualified candidates, a competitive hourly pay range, and shift differentials for nights and weekends.

As an ICU/Critical Care Technician you will triage, obtain history, place IV lines, monitor ventilator cases, and work alongside experienced staff to deliver exceptional care.

• Licensed veterinary technician or LVTX designation preferred.
• Experience with ICU/nursing critical care.
• Strong CPR and critical care skills.

Responsabilidades

• Triage and obtain patient history.
• Identify patients at risk for arrest and initiate CPR.
• Place IV catheters and advanced catheters (Jugular/Central/PICC).
• Monitor and care for ventilator cases.
• Collaborate with other technicians to provide advanced care.
• Mentor and train co-workers and support nursing teams.

$3,000 Sign-on bonus for qualified candidates!

LVT I Pay:

$22.25 - $32.00/Hr

This pay band is a starting point and is dependent on experience and advancement through the Kahuna leveling system.

We also offer competitive shift differential pay for eligible hours worked for nights and weekends.

*Shift differentials are based on a 4-hour minimum.

• Mon - Fri: 6pm to 8am = $3.50 Shift Differential
• Sat & Sun: 8am to 6pm = $3.50 Shift Differential
• Sat & Sun: 6pm to 8am = $5.00 Shift Differential

We are hiring an exceptional Veterinary Technician to join our team.

This is a full-time position that requires flexibility to work nights and weekends and holidays.

As a n ICU/Critical Care Technician, you will:

• Triage and obtain patient history
• Identify patients at risk for arrest and initiate CPR
• Place IVC's and advanced catheters like Jugular catheters, Central Lines or PICC lines.
• Monitor and care for Ventilator Cases
• Work along side other skilled technicians and assistants in providing excellent, advanced medicine to your patients
• Have a passion for mentoring and training other co-workers.
• Feel gratification of nursing critically ill patients back to health and reunite them with their pet parents
