BluePearl Pet Hospital – Overnight ICU Veterinary Technician

LVT I Pay: $22.25 - $32.00/Hr. This pay band is a starting point and is dependent on experience and advancement through the Kahuna leveling system.

We also offer competitive shift differential pay for eligible hours worked for nights and weekends, based on a 4‑hour minimum.

Examples of shift differentials:

• Mon - Fri: 6 pm to 8 am = $3.50 Shift Differential
• Sat & Sun: 8 am to 6 pm = $3.50 Shift Differential
• Sat & Sun: 6 pm to 8 am = $5.00 Shift Differential

As an ICU/Critical Care Technician, you will:

• Triage and obtain patient history
• Identify patients at risk for arrest and initiate CPR
• Place IVCs and advanced catheters such as jugular catheters, central lines, or PICC lines
• Monitor and care for ventilator cases
• Work alongside other skilled technicians and assistants to provide advanced medicine to patients
• Mentor and train other co‑workers
• Experience gratification in nursing critically ill patients back to health and reuniting them with their pet parents
