Job summary

BluePearl Pet Hospital in Fort Lauderdale, FL seeks a Critical Care Veterinary Technician to join our ICU team. This full-time role requires flexibility to work nights, weekends, and holidays in a fast-paced, collaborative setting.

You will triage, obtain histories, place IVs and catheters, monitor ventilator cases, mentor colleagues, and deliver advanced medicine to patients while reuniting them with their owners.

Qualifications

• Triage and obtain patient history
• Identify patients at risk for arrest and initiate CPR
• Place IVCs and advanced catheters (Jugular, Central Lines, PICC)
• Monitor and care for ventilator cases
• Work with skilled technicians and assistants in advanced medicine
• Mentor and train co-workers

BluePearl Pet Hospital is hiring a Critical Care Veterinary Technician!

Pay: $20.00 - $40.00 / hour

This pay band is a starting point and is dependent on experience and advancement through our competency leveling system.

Tentative Schedule: Wednesday - Friday , swing shift. Flexibility required

As An ICU/Critical Care Technician, You Will
