BluePearl Pet Hospital is hiring for an Overnight Veterinary Receptionist!

Are you an excellent customer service professional? Do you offer guidance, comfort, and support? Are you looking for an opportunity to work with some of the greatest veterinary medicine professionals?

Shifts: Overnight, (6:00PM - 6:00AM), Thursday-Saturday

At BluePearl Pet Hospital, our Veterinary Receptionists are vital to our hospital's success. In this role, you are the first point of contact for clients and must ensure they receive the care and attention they need. You should be able to remain calm and compassionate, even in emotionally challenging situations.

As a Veterinary Client Service Representative:

1. Greet clients warmly and make friendly eye contact upon entry.
2. Maintain a friendly smile, strong eye contact, and an approachable demeanor.
3. Listen compassionately to clients.
4. Communicate clearly, slowly, and calmly both in person and on the phone.
5. Assess each client's needs and the pet's condition upon arrival.
6. Determine if an emergency is a "stat" or "standard" emergency.
7. Respond to non-patient calls or visitors and connect them to the appropriate team member.
8. Confirm appointments and provide clients with accurate preparation information.
9. Offer emotional support and resource materials to grieving clients discreetly and compassionately.
10. Act as a liaison during pet remains handling, ensuring a complete and compassionate process.
