Job summary

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• 1 year of related work experience required.
• Current valid driver’s license required.
• Position may require ability to maintain security and integrity per Texas EO-GA-48.

Responsibilities

• Ensures uninterrupted utility services and timely emergency responses.
• Operates and maintains systems and equipment for utilities and steam control.
• Monitors life safety system alarms, emergencies, and security alarms including fire alarms and emergency power.
• Monitors and performs minor adjustments through building automation systems.
• Performs building and system maintenance such as filter replacement and fume hood operation.
• Responds to campus emergencies such as outages, gas leaks, and water main issues.
• Assists with energy management and lighting control coordination with TEPL.
• Supports special events and contractor activities.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
