DAYBREAK INC is seeking a Care Support Specialist to assist YYAs experiencing homelessness by promoting safety, life skills, and emotional well‑being in a residential setting.

The role includes crisis intervention, group facilitation, and collaboration with clinical staff. The overnight third shift supports a 24/7 program, with potential weekend hours to maintain a stable, trauma‑informed environment.

Formación

• High School diploma or GED with five years of experience in a social services, education, behavioral health, or similar setting.
• Associate’s degree in social work, psychology, criminal justice, or related field with two years of experience in a social services, education, behavioral health, or similar setting.

Responsabilidades

• Foster a welcoming, trauma‑informed residential environment for YYAs and support daily living activities.
• Lead structured groups focused on coping skills, emotional regulation, and life skills.
• Collaborate with case managers and clinical teams to align with individualized goals.
• Provide crisis intervention and stabilization services and document incidents.
• Monitor safety, security, and cleanliness of living spaces; assist with move‑ins/outs and scheduling.
