Job summary

The Home Depot is offering a Night Operations Assistant Store Manager in Training (NOASM-IT) program in the United States. The training spans up to 6 weeks and covers overnight freight operations, SOPs, and manager on duty duties.

Participants will work with NRMs and store leadership to develop strategies for department success, sales, and profitability. The program emphasizes leadership by example and adherence to company policies.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Legally permitted to work in the United States.
• Demonstrated ability to collaborate and work effectively with cross-functional teams.
• Minimum 3 years of work experience.
• Minimum leadership experience: 3 years.

Responsibilities

• 10% - Customer Experience: supervise associates, drive customer service and engagement, resolve customer concerns promptly.
• 15% - Operations Management: perform opening/closing MOD and store-wide responsibilities, ensure SOPs and safety compliance.
• 15% - Safety: follow all safety and hazmat procedures and Safety Matters guidelines.
• 10% - Sales and Productivity: plan merchandise placement, signing, and inventory management; manage store equipment and systems.
• 50% - Training for Assistant Manager: participate in structured training covering operations, customer service, sales, profitability, and policies; learn performance management and disciplinary processes.

Education

High School Diploma or GED

Bachelor's degree (preferred)
