Job summary

Walmart is seeking a store leader for Winchester, VA to drive performance and develop teams while upholding exceptional customer service. You will implement company direction, lead change, and coach associates to deliver results in a fast-paced retail environment.

The role includes P&L oversight, budgeting, and expense control, with a focus on merchandising, inventory flow, and operational excellence to benefit the community and Walmart stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Minimum qualifications include 2 years of college OR equivalent work and supervisory experience.
• 2 years of college; OR 1 year of retail experience with 1 year supervisory experience; OR 2 years general work experience with 1 year supervisory experience.
• Associates must complete required trainings and assessments (e.g., Academy, Open Door).

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop teams through training, feedback, and active listening to associates.
• Drive store financial performance including P&L, budgeting and controlling expenses.
• Ensure customer service standards and support community initiatives.
• Hire, train, mentor associates and promote a belonging mindset.
• Oversee operations, merchandising, inventory flow and process improvements.
