Job summary

Meijer in Columbus, OH is seeking a Stocking Clerk to ensure shelves are stocked with grocery items and ready for customers. You will move products from pallets to shelves, manage backroom disposals, and keep areas clean and organized.

This role emphasizes teamwork, safety, and efficiency. Overnight shifts help prepare the store each morning, with opportunities to grow through Meijer's development programs and benefits.

Qualifications

• Must be able to perform physical tasks, including lifting up to 50 lbs.
• Experience with pallet jacks or forklifts is a plus.
• Able to work in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Stock shelves with a variety of grocery products.
• Move product from pallets or carts to correct shelf locations.
• Pull backstock and dispose of cardboard and trash in back-room areas.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment.
• Provide friendly interactions with customers when needed.
• Work overnight shifts to prepare the store for the day ahead.
• Support other tasks to keep operations running smoothly.
