Job summary

Meijer Inc. is hiring a Stocking Clerk to keep shelves stocked and customers served with a friendly attitude. This entry level role emphasizes product knowledge, efficient service, and teamwork in a retail setting.

You will stock groceries, move products from pallets to shelves, handle back-room disposal, and maintain a clean store area. Overnight shifts may be required, with weekly pay and a supportive team environment.

Qualifications

• Comfortable learning and using basic technology.
• Organized and efficient with processes.
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods.

Responsibilities

• Stock shelves with a variety of food and grocery products.
• Move product from pallets or carts to the correct shelf locations.
• Pull backstock and dispose of cardboard and trash in designated back-room areas.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment.
• Provide friendly, respectful interactions with customers when needed.
• Work overnight shifts to prepare the store for the day ahead.
• Support other tasks as needed to keep operations running smoothly.
