Job summary

Meijer Inc. in Muskegon, MI is looking for an entry-level Stocking Clerk to help keep shelves stocked and customers served with a friendly, efficient approach.

You will move products from pallets to shelves, pull backstock, dispose of cardboard, and maintain a clean, safe store environment. Overnight shifts and physical work are required; teamwork and reliability are essential.

Qualifications

• Basic technology skills and ability to follow processes.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods.
• Teamwork and friendly customer service.
• Experience with pallet jacks or forklifts is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Stock shelves with a variety of food and grocery products.
• Move product from pallets or carts to the correct shelf locations efficiently and accurately.
• Pull backstock and dispose of cardboard and trash in designated back-room areas.
• Work closely with leadership to ensure areas are completed on time.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment.
• Provide friendly, respectful interactions with customers when needed.
• Work overnight shifts to prepare the store for the day ahead.
• Support other tasks as needed to keep operations running smoothly.
