Job summary

Target’s General Merchandise team keeps shelves stocked and guests satisfied by ensuring product availability and clean presentation. Inbound Experts support store operations with sorting, stocking, and maintenance to keep the sales floor guest-ready.

The role requires teamwork, problem‑solving, and strong guest‑service skills, including assisting with back‑up cashier duties and pickup/drive‑up orders. A flexible schedule is required for nights, weekends, and peak times.

Responsibilities

• Execute detailed sorting operations.
• Stock, organize, and store reserve product and straighten merchandise on the sales floor.
• Maintain product availability on the sales floor for GM categories.
• Operate powered equipment during unloading and moving merchandise.
• Process defective merchandise and handle ESIM items in compliance with laws.
• Demonstrate a culture of ethical conduct, safety, and compliance.
• Support guest services such as back‑up cashier, order pick‑up (OPU), and drive‑up (DU).
• Create a welcoming experience by greeting and assisting guests.
• Perform all other duties as directed by business needs.
