Job summary

Target is hiring an Inbound Expert to support store operations on the General Merchandise team. You will perform sorting, stocking, and maintenance tasks to keep the sales floor guest-ready, requiring teamwork and a guest-focused approach.

The role emphasizes problem-solving, attention to detail, and adherence to safety and compliance. A flexible schedule including nights, weekends, holidays, and peak times is required to meet store needs.

Qualifications

• At least 18 years old.
• Welcoming and helpful attitude toward guests and teammates.
• Ability to communicate on frequency devices, operate handheld scanners, and use technology equipment.
• Work independently and with a team.
• Resolve guest questions quickly.
• Attention to detail and follow processes.
• Remain focused and composed in a fast-paced environment and complete tasks within timeframes.

Responsibilities

• Execute detailed sorting operations.
• Stock, organize, and store reserve product and straighten merchandise on the sales floor.
• Maintain product availability on the sales floor for GM categories.
• Operate powered equipment during unloading and moving merchandise.
• Process defective merchandise and handle ESIM items in compliance with laws.
• Demonstrate a culture of ethical conduct, safety, and compliance.
• Support guest services such as back-up cashier, order pick-up (OPU), and drive-up (DU).
• Create a welcoming experience by greeting and assisting guests.
• Perform all other duties as directed by business needs.
